The upcoming spinoff series of The Big Bang Theory at Max has announced its first three cast members. According to sources from Variety, Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, and Kevin Sussman are set to star in the potential show, which was first announced to be in development back in April 2023. While specific plot details are still under wraps, all three actors are expected to reprise their beloved roles from the original series.
Currently, the show remains in development and has yet to be officially greenlit. Posehn, Sussman, and Lapkus are all under talent holding deals as the project progresses. The Big Bang Theory co-creator Chuck Lorre is attached as an executive producer through Chuck Lorre Productions, with Lorre holding an overall deal with series studio Warner Bros. Television.
